I should have prefaced that by saying that came up through our system or essentially made his debut with us...they've been few and far between, especially considering we now have a Latino manager, but a complete lack of results from the DR or Venezuela in terms of scouting. Yes, I know, we can blame it all on Wilder or Shaffer, but it is deeper than that even, this goes back a decade or more, since the time time we developed Ordonez and Carlos Lee.
