lets see....Williams is still questionable but as of now thats 2 out of 8 that have been a good thing for the bears...

 

So a 25% hit rate....s*** with that number I'd give them 3 #1s for an above average QB....

I browse there anymore, its hard to converse on talkbears. THose guys all have an extreme love-hate relationship with the Bears, and sometimes it just isnt reasonable conversation

because Angelo will start making better choices? I think it is a very valid point, I would give up 2 first rounders and the salary that goes along with it for an above average QB who has already proved he can play in the NFL...rather than watching Angelo try and fail again with high round draft picks...s*** if we have to throw in a 3rd or 2nd round go for it....

Bingo! And you knew this was coming the moment it was even insinuated that Cutler could be available. It's not nearly as simple as "GIVE THEM WHATEVER THEY WANT FOR CUTLER!" And the sad thing is that if the Bears don't get him, it's going to be automatically assumed that they dropped the ball.

Think about the possibility of this being the rest of our offseason:

 

-Sign Pace, Holt, and Lucas.

 

-Trade our 1st and 3rd this year, a conditional pick in 2010 that can become a 1st rounder (automatically a 2nd or 3rd round pick no matter what), Orton, and one of Vasher, McBride or Graham (whichever one Denver feels would be the best fit, I think it would be Graham) for Cutler. I think/hope that would get the deal done.
