Sox Rotation

Per Cowley Twitter...

Last check with Guillen, he was leaning to going with Colon in the 4, and Contreras the 5.

also...

If Tuesday's Sox game is postponed, Buehrle could be pushed back to Friday, with G. Floyd starting Wednesday.

Floyd had some journey on his way to becoming a number #2 starter. Good for him.

Man, Twitter has made Cowley like, reporter #1 in Chicago.

No chance today's game gets postponed.

Wouldn't it make more sense to use Danks against the Twins and RA Dickey on Friday night???

Contreras has always done pretty well against the Royals...

Whatever puts Contreras out there in the warmest possible weather is best.

The Trib needs to get their guys on Twitter, like yesterday.

Ozzie made it official - Contreras is the No. 4 and Colon is the No. 5.

I am surprised Mariotti hasn't come up with one...just to get back in the public eye.

The problem, of course, is that he never breaks any news, he just takes quotes and information from other media members and repackages it as his own. So the irony is that while Jay was complaining about the newspapers being irrelevant in terms of their on-line presence, it's his style of journalism which doesn't fit the new world of twitter and blogging.

I poked them today about our little project. No word back yet.

I like their veteran presence. They both know how to pitch and I really think many teams would be happy to have those guys. Hopefully they stay healthy all year and can produce and contribute to a Sox pennant.
