Sox-Twins on National TV Saturday

Featured Replies

See you on the TV today at 2:00 PM MDT. Colon is pitching and here's hoping for a win for Bart and the Sox. :gosoxretro:

Unfortunately, that doesn't include the West Coast. LAA vs. BOS out here.

There's nothing national about it. All Fox Saturday games do is prohibit people from seeing teams outside their region. (or Sawx/Yanks of course)

Not even regional!!! Here in the Quad Cities, approximately 177 miles from USCF, they still show Cardinals games on FOX over the White Sox, even though the Cardinals/Astros games is not really a "rivalry" game like the White Sox one...and even though St. Louis is almost twice as far away from the Quad Cities as Chicago.

They would never show a Cardinals game over a Cubs game here...

ridiculous, i hate saturdays:(

GODDAMMIT!!!!.... No MLB Extra Innings. BASTARDS! This is what pisses me off...regional coverage...super. But for people outside of the region it just basically screws them. What's the purpose of blacking it out for MLB coverage? Guess this blows my plans today. Cold rainy day in Phx today and I was gonna curl up with a few beers on my couch.

Well, with our starting line-up as comprised today, the game might not be worth watching except as a comedy track and MLB record for strikeouts being threatened by Liriano.

Sorry ewveryone that I mentioned it. However, judging by some of the comments about regional coverage I have to wonder if we will see the Sox game here at all, but it is listed on the TV guide and in the paper so I am hoping for the best.

90 miles south of Chicago and I get STL/HOU.

Yeah seriously, the regional coverage sucks. The Sox have 9 games on Fox Saturdays this year and I think only 2 or maybe 3 are with West Coast teams so that sucks for us West Coast Sox fans.

Last year we received West coast coverage most of the time here in the Rocky Mountain West. Maybe we'll be lucky this year and get those Sox games

It's just as bad on the East Coast. I might get one Sox game out of every 10 games they broadcast here.

And the other 9 are between the Yanks, Boston, Mets and Phillies.

It really does suck.
