I almost never swear.

 

My parents rarely swear, and it was instilled in me through years and years of Catholic schooling not to. Now it just feels dumb to swear. But I'm cool with other people swearing.

I think people tend to think if a person goes out of their way to never swear they think they are better than you. IDK maybe I am wrong.

I have worked factory type jobs my whole f***ing life... so ya I f***ing swear from time to motherf***ing time... wanna make something of it??

I stepped on a rake barefoot one time when I was about 12 or so and said almost the exact same thing. My friend was standing nearby when it happened and said "I've never heard you swear so much in your life!"

 

I don't swear a hole lot and he and my wife both give me crap about it when I do.

 

Another friend of my has a magnet that says "I don't have a swearing problem. I just like to say 'f***' a lot."

I say yes, but while I'm at work (an elementary school) I have no problem at all. It just depends on the people I'm around.

I stopped in my early twenties, mostly because of the work culture and wanting to be taken seriously. So now when I do, my kids laugh.
