Nice to see Lexei follow up that horrendous night with a damned good one. And how about the defense by both Owens and Lillibridge. The Sunday line ups seem to be doing pretty well this year for Ozzie. :headbang

Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss

Just what the doctor ordered with Doc facing us tomorrow.

this team confuses the s*** out of me, seriously i don't get how a team can be blown out or blow out the opponent so frequently

Is their anyone other then Pujols, that you'd rather have batting with the bases juiced then Alexei? Isn't it awesome for this team that this is a serious question?

It appears there still might be a chance BA can still pan out, i would love for him to give us a Mike Cameron esk production till hes a FA on the Cheap.

Also great to see Che starting to heat up and cook grand slams ala dennys

I didn't see the game...

Was the 3-2 pitch that Alexei took out of the park a breaking pitch?

What did Steve Stone say right before Alexei hit a grand slam?

Alexei in 2008 with the bases juiced - .471 avg 1.176 slg 1.576 OPS. f***ing silly.

For s***s and giggles Pujols last year was .375, 1.000, 1.364.

Gameday says it was a slider.

The nice thing was how he laid off a few breaking balls to run the count full. A few games ago he strikes out in ugly fashion.

Please this gets Alexei out of this funk. Spending $200 on an authentic white Ramirez jersey looks like a worse investment every passing day.

LOL I hear ya. Nothing like buying a sweeeet 2004 All-Star game jersey with the name... Loaiza on the back, two weeks before we traded him.

Still love the jersey though.

Anyway, last night was like a highlight reel. Any game where Jerry Owens is making a web gem catch, B.A. is hitting the ball and you've got Mark Buehrle on the mound... I'll take it.

Interesting to see how they play today. If they play...

I watched the game via WGN. Sure was a nice homer from Alexei and some real good defense. Sure is fun when you win
