Wow, I'm shocked. It would have made more sense to promote Cook or Gartrell to Charlotte considering that there is an open spot on their roster. Edited May 17, 200916 yr by JPN366
May 17, 200916 yr QUOTE (JPN366 @ May 17, 2009 -> 11:19 AM) Wow, I'm shocked. It would have made more sense to promote Cook or Gartrell to Charlotte considering that there is an open spot on their roster. Lillibridge is going to be there very soon, once Anderson is activated.
May 17, 200916 yr Nice, Birmingham now has officially the sickest lineup: 1. Danks, CF 2. Beckham, SS 3. Flowers, C 4. Allen, 1B 5. Viciedo, 3B 6. Gartell, RF 7. Cook, DH 8. Shelby, LF 9. Retherford, 2B
May 17, 200916 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 17, 2009 -> 11:51 AM) Lillibridge is going to be there very soon, once Anderson is activated. True. But who deserves to be in AAA? Gartrell, Cook or Brent "I'm not an alien" Lillibridge?
May 17, 200916 yr I think the organization would prefer to keep most of the real prospects and borderline prospects in AA. Right now, Charlotte isn't a winning ball club, and I think the organization wants the top guys to learn how to win, and winning together. Edited May 17, 200916 yr by BearSox

May 17, 200916 yr If we're out of it and Fields continues sucking, I'd imagine they'll give Viciedo a try in Chicago.
May 17, 200916 yr Author Bases clearing 2-out double for CJ Retherford in the 6th. 4-3 Barons. This is a 7-inning game, so that was very clutch. This is my team. Not that suckfest on the south side.
May 17, 200916 yr Can anybody check to see if the Dash game is streaming online? They're on the road, so it should be on. I can't get it to play here at work.

I've been thinking about going to Toledo in 2 weeks to see the Knights, but Whisler, Link and Egbert are the only players on the Roster worth seeing.

May 17, 200916 yr QUOTE (flavum @ May 17, 2009 -> 03:53 PM) Danks with the golden sombrero. Ouch. I'm guessing the pitcher they were facing today was tough on lefties cause Allen K'd 3 times as well.

He has really become a stellar prospect.
