Wow, I'm shocked. It would have made more sense to promote Cook or Gartrell to Charlotte considering that there is an open spot on their roster.

Lillibridge is going to be there very soon, once Anderson is activated.

Nice, Birmingham now has officially the sickest lineup:

1. Danks, CF

2. Beckham, SS

3. Flowers, C

4. Allen, 1B

5. Viciedo, 3B

6. Gartell, RF

7. Cook, DH

8. Shelby, LF

9. Retherford, 2B

True. But who deserves to be in AAA? Gartrell, Cook or Brent "I'm not an alien" Lillibridge?

I think the organization would prefer to keep most of the real prospects and borderline prospects in AA. Right now, Charlotte isn't a winning ball club, and I think the organization wants the top guys to learn how to win, and winning together.

That's awesome...only one non prospect in the bunch (Cook)

Viciedo 2-3, up to .265.

If we're out of it and Fields continues sucking, I'd imagine they'll give Viciedo a try in Chicago.

Bases clearing 2-out double for CJ Retherford in the 6th.

4-3 Barons. This is a 7-inning game, so that was very clutch.

This is my team. Not that suckfest on the south side.

Can anybody check to see if the Dash game is streaming online? They're on the road, so it should be on. I can't get it to play here at work.

Just checked. Worked, but the game is over.

Danks with the golden sombrero. Ouch.

Good, I was worried that they pulled the plug on the road games as well.

Beckham 0-4 in his return to the lineup.

Whisler is pitching well.

I've been thinking about going to Toledo in 2 weeks to see the Knights, but Whisler, Link and Egbert are the only players on the Roster worth seeing.

I'm guessing the pitcher they were facing today was tough on lefties cause Allen K'd 3 times as well.

Does anyone know anything about Hector Santiago in W-S?

21Ks in 14 IPs, plus last year he was 83Ks in 64.1 IPs.

30th round pick in 2006.........

B. Allen's improvment.

The man has come a looooongz way since being drafted though his power last year is still sick to look at. He has really become a stellar prospect.
