Everytime i hear about Denard Span, i think of that legenday draft day section in Moneyball, where Span's agent makes a horrible miscalculation over his clients value, that drops Span about 15 spots in the draft. One of my favorite quotes came from that, "Span f***ed US."

You know, not caring about the back stuff...Joe's numbers on the season so far remind me a lot of the 2002-pre September 2005 Joe Crede numbers. Decent pop, low batting average, low OBP, low OPS.
