is there a chance the sox take a high upside high school pitcher and will there even be some1 like that available.

 

I think we have an opportunity to take some1 who might take a while to develop but could be potentially great

Solid set of picks by the Dbacks. If the Marlins want to spend, Miller would be a great fit and definately goes with there overall scouting philosphy. If they want to go cheaper, they go Chad James, imo.

If he gets past Florida, a good chance, although with the new stadium deal he might be a good pick here, I think the Cards gobble him up. Cards are also very high on Brothers. Marlins like Arnett a bit too and the Kennesaw State boys.

Cardinals would love the chance to get Brothers, as they want a LHP.

Brothers probably goes to the Cards, but I don't know if they expected Miller to be there. Otherwise it'll be Brothers.

Sure seems like we should have our choice of guys who dropped.

Definitely take a pitcher here, and then hope Trout/Wheeler/Williams, etc fall to 38.

No lock, but I think one of the four guys the Sox are targeting will be there: Brothers/Arnett/Mitchell/Everette

 

My guess is they are no longer interested in Trout.

Shelby Miller is asking for 4 million...no way we take him and pay him that out of the 23rd pick.

This is probably where Brothers goes, but I still say Cards are one of those teams that might think twice and go best available and grab Miller. But I'd be shocked if it was anyone other than those two guys.

Gibson gets up to 94-95. Miller is going to the Cards, Brothers will go to the Jays. Arnett will be there when the Sox pick and will be there selection, unless the Twins take him.

In fact, I think the Twins will take Arnett, thus leaving the Sox with Mitchell or Everette. Thats how it is going to go down.

 

Not sure ont he Astros. Jiovani Mier is who they've been tied to and they don't seem interested in Everett.

Nope. I've been doing nothing but reading the draft for months, but BA has been pretty spot on as well. They missed on a couple though that I had...muahaaaa.

 

That said the BA blog confirmed what I had been thinknig about the Cards and Miller. BA is very good as long as you take it for what it is and make your opinions based upon there stuff.
