I'd have to check, but I believe he was released after an unspectacular run at Charlotte early this season. Baseball Cube doesn't show anything after that - he may be out of baseball.

 

Paul Konerko expects to return to White Sox's lineup Saturday

MILWAUKEE - First baseman Paul Konerko said he would be "shocked" if he doesn't return Saturday to the White Sox's lineup. Konerko said the shot he received has successfully alleviated the pain in his right thumb. He said he won't attempt to take batting practice before Friday night's game at Milwaukee.
