The only places he's going to work things out and start getting his pitches over the plate again is on the mound or on the DL, and if he's not hurt, then he needs to be out there.

 

Ozzie obviously is trying to develop a pattern in which Linebrink is THE set up guy in games like this. Like you said, it's either throw in Mr. High Paid reliever or put him on the DL. Hopefully he'll address the situation in going to Liney again today in the media reports on the game. There is a reason, folks, the media has to ask him to clarify it for us but it may be Oz had decided he's the guy to pitch the eighth in games like this.
