The guy is 13-5, would you take that group for a #1 starter?

I'm thinking they'd prefer to have Carlos Lee, but I'm more then willing to do that. I'd prefer to keep Harris and Rowand if possible. I'd offer them Lee and a prospect of some sort. Maybe give them Glover.

July 21, 200322 yr I would still rather deal Konerko over Lee even though Pauly is hot right now. I think the orioles would take my proposed deal if there was one more prospect in there. He has been sort of inconsistent the past few years and plus he is a free agent next year. Im sure Kenny could ink him next year. Just look at this rotation: Buherle Loaiza Ponson Garland Rauch or maybe even Honel For all i care colon can walk he is just another bust in my eyes.

July 21, 200322 yr how many years left does mora have left on his contract? i wouldnt mind trading lee, harris or rowand, and a few prospects for mora and ponson. Look at moras numbers they kick ass. Now that would be a great trade. About the prospects im sure that the white sox are pretty sure which prospects the rangers will be taking.

Everybody does something stupid, it is a matter of does it happen all of the time or not. Me personally, I would love to see Hairston playing 2B for us. He seems to be fundementally sound.

This would allow Gordon to remain Closer.. we replace Koch with the reliever and then we let Graffy play third base for the rest of the year and look for a replacement in FA... Randa maybe? A 3rd baseman hitting .230 with under 10 HR's and under 40 RBI's, plus a former closer who lost 10 MPH off of his fastball and no one can figure out why, for a #1 starter and plus a decent set up guy. Heck you can add Ponson and Lightenburgs ERA's and they aren't that much more than Koch's is by itself! Even the O's would laugh at us.

July 21, 200322 yr I say O's get Crede Lee Rauch Sox get Ponson Lightenberg Connine. Here is my reasoning. Ponson would give us a solid #4 and #5 while making our rotation the best in the bigs. Lightenberg would give us another Righthander in the bullpen who is very reliable. Connine gives us a replacement for Crede for atleast 2 years maybe 3 who is a great hitter and a good fielder. Now on why the O's would do it, 1st they get Crede to be thier future 3rd baseman. Lee would be the right handed power hitter they have been looking for who can play 1st base, left field, and DH. And then Rauch gives them another pitching prospect for thier future rotation.
