A lady at work today was trying to swipe her credit card through the machine, but she was sliding it so that the embossed numbers were going through the card reader. She starts getting up set that it isn't taking her card and my machine must be broken. So I calmly (and as nicely as possible) tell her that she needs to flip the card so that the magnetic strip runs through the sensor. The woman looks at me as if I am stupid and says (in the most condescending rude voice) "Then how would it read the numbers?" Honest to pete, I didn't know if I should laugh or yell at her.

Soxy, when you use that saying it makes you sound like you are in your 80's.LOL

If you're running full speed, trip on something, and fall face first on the cement, you're obviously hurt pretty badly.

Yes but it revolves around are you hurt enough for a trip to the emergency room to get stitches or can you walk it off. Because obviously your hurt badly, the question is trying to find out just how badly that badly is.

Having the last name "Norris" for 28 years has lead to many a stupid question. Only recently has it not sucked.
