Your best hitter gets hurt and misses two months, and you have this guy in the minors who can play his position. Instead, you keep trotting Fontenot and Bobby Scales out there.

I hope we keep Jose. Maybe not for $10M, but something doable for both sides. You can never have enough pitching especially quality veteran starters

I wouldn't mind an incentive-laden contract for 1 year as a #4 starter. I'm sure he'll want guaranteed money for at least 2 years though.
