No (immediate) help in sight for Tigers

Author even goes as far as saying Tigers are done if they lose 3 of 4 this weekend to Chicago.

I think that's a little bit of an overexaggeration, but his article should give us even more confidence about the "psyche" of the Tiggers as we enter Motown with all the momentum in the world behind us.

Good, hope they don't get help.

They are NOT a good team, they are having such a fluke season. Half of their team is hitting below 250.

Inge is falling off, Granderson really isn't hitting all that great, their stupid minor league hitters just always rough us up (Clete Thomas, Santiago). Jackson and Verlander are the only two pitching well right now, Porcello is falling off, Galarraga we have hit in past.

They imo need more help than our team, they need a bat, and couple pitching arms, Maggs hitting wouldn't hurt them as well.

Even if he was, they wont let him play. They dont want his 18 mil option to vest with plate appearances. Maggs is getting screwed by the deal he signed

Since the All-Star Break, they have lost 4 games by the score of 2-1. Granted, the starters they were facing were CC, Joba, Felix, and Washburn...

Carlos Guillen is coming off the DL today.

Their run differential is quite a bit better than ours.

+32 vs +1

...and there's the inevitable HR.

Maybe all the positive media attention from was the jinx for the White Sox?

Funny to read that article now...but at least we didn't go down 4 games. Should have great crowds or sellouts against the Yankees this weekend hopefully.

Well we provided some immediate help. We're so nice.
