You realize he is at 110...he could actually complete this game.

 

The Sox game plan today was hideously bad. As you infer, he should have been gone innings ago.

He's aging...he's an old hitting warrior out there, but is not near as imposing as he once was...He's looking like a sub .250 hitter at this point on pace for 20-25 homers. His time is winding down sad to say.

 

Sure, he's still having good moments here and there, but he's a very average cleanup hitter at this point to say the least.

I don't know who wants to cut him. But if I had to choose between Dye or Thome as my DH over the next few years. Dye gets my vote.

 

 

Never said anything about cutting him...Just hard to have faith in him.

Verlander is 6-0 with an ERA just over 1 at home, it's not that shocking.

 

Podsednik has really helped our offense and we've got Wise leading off in this game, plus who knows the mindset of our guys after a hectic time yesterday.
