Thornton tends to throw high heat. Branyan will Tee off on that

I think he is a low ball hitter. I could be wrong though.

They better close the roof. Gonna take a homer to win this thing

Well, that was the only legit threat, but somehow the guys we never fear always bite us in the ass.

Branyan looked like he was in Milwaukee Mode there.

no walks to jack hannahan please

Hannahan has power. Have to be careful here.

Nice catch, CQ.

Nice play Carlos

Q with a hell of a play.

Nice play Carlos, and Rios is making it look easy in RF.

Phew! Nice catch Q.

Good gamble, good grab.

Nice catch Q. :) As previously stated I like Thornton's chances. Seems like he's automatic in my eyes.

Decent play Carlos, the bottom of the tenth sounds like the right time to me. Hope i'm wrong.

Seriously?

I'm not sure anyone can second guess either decision. He's been extremely effective tonight with a very reasonable pitch count. He has a no-hitter and a perfect game under his belt and you are acting as though he is Charlie Haeger or something.

No but that him him around a bit in the 7th, then in the 8th they got a leadoff hit and the top of the lineup is coming up. That usually means its time to give them someone new to look at.

Niiiice play TCQ...

He absolutely is. The uppercut in his swing is very visible. He’s vulnerable to high heat, and hard pitches inside. Basically, he’s Thornton’s b****.

Aight Alex. Hit a bomb and make me look like the world's biggest douchebag.

Let's f*** this guy up!

A washed-up pitcher? He'll probably have a 1-2-3 in 3 pitches.

How about an Alex Rios welcome to the Sox bomb?

I'm calling it...

Mark Lowe is filthy when he's on. Nigh unhittable.

1-3 in extra innings isn't good, is it?

Steal mother frickin 2nd base.
