August 12, 200916 yr This was a fantastic game. Lineceum was absolutely filthy, and would have gotten a CG win if it wasn’t for the umpires blowing a call at 1st. Uribe destroyed that ball too.
August 13, 200916 yr I think it'd be awesome if both the Giants and Rockies passed the Dodgers, don't see it happening though.
August 13, 200916 yr QUOTE (Wanne @ Aug 13, 2009 -> 01:17 AM) Atta boy Juan!!!! I really miss this guy on our team.... Me too. While he was frustrating at times he was also one of my favourite players.
August 13, 200916 yr QUOTE (Ozzie Ball @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 11:12 PM) Me too. While he was frustrating at times he was also one of my favourite players. I won't miss the Tasmanian Devil part of him. I will miss the great defense and underappreciated clutch and gutsy play.
August 13, 200916 yr He is missed sorely. On a side note I think he stranded seven before he decided enough baseball had been played and won the game.
August 13, 200916 yr The NL wildcard is shaping up to be a pretty exciting race down the stretch between two pretty good teams (by NL standards). I think I read that the Rockies were something like 42-18 since Jim Tracy took over. And the Giants have the top staff in the game.
August 13, 200916 yr QUOTE (Wanne @ Aug 12, 2009 -> 08:17 PM) Atta boy Juan!!!! I really miss this guy on our team.... The 2004 and 2005 version yes, not the 2006 and 2007 s***ty version. Edited August 13, 200916 yr by lostfan

August 13, 200916 yr QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Aug 13, 2009 -> 01:46 PM) What are your feelings on the 2008 version? I loved what he did for us at 3B last year. I was kind of mad at first that we were paying him so much, but it was a relief to have him on the team when Crede went down.
August 13, 200916 yr Not sure what his defensive numbers are, but he's having a pretty nice year at the dish (slightly better than his career average). I watched part of this game--he's still kinda chubby. Edit: Worst UZR of his career, but it's a small sample size. Edited August 13, 200916 yr by JorgeFabregas
