It, along with the Rios and Peavy transactions, would fall between the win now and in the future mentality this organization seems to have. If we can integrate Huddy into the rotation now, it’ll make his transition next year smoother.

Not having a back-up infielder that can hit from the left side really hurts. If we face any tough righties the next two weeks, it's going to be awful watching Nix have to face them.

To be fair, I believe that Toronto is worse at that art than even us.

Watching Rios in the outfield, is it wrong to think that it would've been enjoyable to see him and Anderson both out there?

Nothing could possibly top the 2003 team in terms of underachieving, but if we don't pick it up, this 2009 version will give it a run.
