The Sox got Rios because they needed defense, he is not supposed to be carrying our offense. His offensive stats should eventually normalize, but I also feel that this year could be like Konerko's 2003. For whatever reason he just cant make it work at the plate.

 

As long as he goes out and catches the ball, Im fine with him hitting .250 or so this season.

If Nix would have kept the tag on him, he'd have been out.
