August 17, 200916 yr I'd also imagine there's a big difference relating to the type of surface you're running on. Grass/turf with cleats is going to give in a totally different way than sprinter shoes on a track.
August 20, 200916 yr QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Aug 17, 2009 -> 12:16 PM) Nope, I'm the same way. I'd be surprised if Bolt ISN'T on PED's. In the ESPN magazine issue with one of the Molina bros on the cover, there's an article about Bolt. In the article, it's mentioned that five of Bolt's teammates on the national team have tested positive for PEDs in the past couple of years, and, if I recall correctly, Bolt has shaved almost half of a second off his previous best time in the 100 in the past couple of years. I'd also be more surprised if he ISN'T on PEDs.
August 20, 200916 yr If he was 28 and not 22, I'd think for sure he was on something. But just because of how young he is, I think there is a shot that he's just THAT good.
August 20, 200916 yr QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Aug 17, 2009 -> 01:16 PM) I know Gatlin sucked at football, but does anyone think Bolt could play in the NFL? I mean he is 6-5, probably has a huge vertical and can outrun any CB on the field, probably by a few steps. I would just love to see him perform "go" routes and let a QB just bomb it out. I honestly think he could be a solid NFL player, obviously he would have to catch the ball, but I would love to see him try it. I think Powell would fair better in football than Bolt just based on Powell's build.
August 20, 200916 yr QUOTE (Tmar @ Aug 20, 2009 -> 06:56 AM) They should switch names with each other. 'Tyson Bolt' sounds raw. and "Usain Gay" sounds, well, pornstar-ish
August 21, 200916 yr QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Aug 20, 2009 -> 01:58 PM) and Bolt breaks his own 200m world record time, 19.11 And I thought Michael Johnson's 200 mark would stand for a generation. Bolt better not be cheating...
