Has a KW mid-season move backfired more than Rios?

Featured Replies

It's been 90 bad at-bats. Too early to tell. If we never forgave Paulie's super-long slumps, we may not have a ring right now.

And a bad 90 at-bats is something I can swallow if its a huge defensive upgrade, at a key defensive position, which it is.

In '08 Rios had 47 doubles, 8 triples and 15 homers. If we get that from him in '10, it's like adding a lower-OBP-Markakis. I'm not judging KW yet.

I think the Baldwin move still could be his biggest blunder. A young GM tries to get a young prospect named Jon Berry but gets a journeyman named Jeff Barry.

Whatever happened to that prospect, Jon Berry?

I'm just wondering why trades like the Ritchie trade and the Baldwin trade get mulled over and over if nothing that great was missed out on or lost because of them.
