kotsay has hit the ball hard from the day he got here. results weren't there at first, but this guy's a gamer.

JD is just throwing a great game.

He needs to come back next year.

How many others are on board with this? A versatile, lefty contact hitter with plus defense, who appears to fit in well? Sold.

dye does not deserve a starting job on this team, ozzie.

yep, now a 2 run game. and all those f***ing runners left on base could come back to haunt once again.

Beltre sure had a gaudy season in 2004. Not so much ever since.

Rios is .156/.172/.229 with us. I knew he was bad, but not this bad. Has he done anything productive tonight? I saw his first AB. I really hope he breaks out of it. If nothing else than for confidence in next year, ha.

Getz almost never strikes out. It's so refreshing.

Kotsay too, for that matter. Only 11% k rate, nice!

*snore*

The Mariners have a Tuiasosopo? Any relation to the one that played for (IIRC) the KC Chiefs?

Yes, it's his father. And I think he played with the Rams too.

And his brother used to be an NFL QB for the Raiders, don't know if he ever started though.

He did a couple of games and looked decent in one game.

Nope, 49ers and Seahawks, ha. Two borthers in the NFL, actually.

What a family, an NFL father, two NFL sons, and another MLB son. None were very good, but they all made it pro.

Great game Danks.

Bobby Jenks is so clutch.

If Jenks is still a White Sox next year, I hope he improves.
