October 14, 200916 yr Just saw this I'm not old enough to remember the earlier years of his career, but I thought he was great as part of the Headshrinkers gang alongside Afa the Wild Samoan.

October 14, 200916 yr Author QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 14, 2009 -> 01:50 PM) Wow, you are really young. I saw Captain Lou live one time at the Rosemont Horizon or something (when it was still called that) when he was with those guys. I think that was Summerslam where Owen Hart fought Bret Hart in a cage and the fake Undertaker fought the real Undertaker. If I didn't see him there then it was at one of the other events they did. But yeah, I missed all the 80's stuff unfortunately.
October 14, 200916 yr I remember him most as Mario in the Super Mario Brothers Super Show. Edited October 14, 200916 yr by almagest
October 14, 200916 yr He was pretty awesome. He was Cyndi Lauper's dad in the "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" video. RIP Cap'n Lou.
October 14, 200916 yr Author That was Captain Lou in the Super Mario Bros. Show?!?!? I never knew that! Awesome!

October 14, 200916 yr I feel bad for his family and his friends. ....but.... I think he was really not very good as a manager. Lots of fast-talk and yelling and not much interesting stuff being yelled or said quickly. Kind of like Lewis Black in that regard.

October 14, 200916 yr RIP Capt. If I could grow facial hair very well at all then I'd do one in memoriam...but, it would take me probably 6 months just to get a regular beard.
October 15, 200916 yr QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 14, 2009 -> 03:40 PM) I have never heard of, nor seen this guy in anything. Seriously?
October 15, 200916 yr Author QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Oct 14, 2009 -> 05:27 PM) RIP Capt. If I could grow facial hair very well at all then I'd do one in memoriam...but, it would take me probably 6 months just to get a regular beard. Just find that one stray hair that grows wildly from your chin for no apparent reason and nurse it well. Feed it like it's the Chia Obama. When others are annoyed by it or mistake it for a cobweb and threaten to pluck it out, you can then take the opportunity to remind them of Captain Lou Albano and the legacy he left behind.
