July 30, 200322 yr He's starting tomorrow. Haven't heard much of him lately, how are his stats? He was a STUD at the beginning of the season.
July 30, 200322 yr crede must of read some of these threads about how we should trade him.......A nice HR and a nice pick already.
July 30, 200322 yr No...but I expect better than a .280 OBP from a "stud" 3B. His HR's and D are just fine...but I'd like to see a few more timely hits (like the HR tonight) and walks. Do you expect that in a guys 1st year at a difficult position in MLB? I just think he needs some time..he seems to get under ALOT of pitches at-bat, and I don't think he has learned to pull his hands in when he is busted inside. Patience, grasshopper..
July 30, 200322 yr Author LOL, "He Gone" is quickly catching "You can put it on the board.....yeeeessss" as my favorite Hawk-ism.
July 30, 200322 yr 2 out single and Tucker is now up. This has to feel good for Buehrle. he gives up two and Sox come right back and score three.
July 30, 200322 yr crede must of read some of these threads about how we should trade him.......A nice HR and a nice pick already. I can see him with his laptop in the clubhouse, being all worried about being traded....

What does his position in the field have to do with his .280 OBP? And I have plenty of patience -- but to call him a stud is pretty silly, especially with the way he's performed so far this year. Hell, even last year his OBP was horrid (somewhere around .320), but his power numbers made up for it.
July 30, 200322 yr Wow, MB got a gift strike call as Tucker was heading to first base to run the count to 3-2, and then got him to fly out on the next pitch. But we will take it. 3-2 Sox after 4 full innings of play.
July 30, 200322 yr Author Give TONS of credit to Tony Graffanino. In his 3 AB's, he's seen 18 pitches, and is 1 for 2 with a walk. Way to go, Tony!

July 30, 200322 yr Frank 0-9 lifetime vs D May... Make that 0-10 on a weak foul pop out to the catcher.
