ESPN: Top 3 Rotations/Bullpens in MLB

I'm actually shocked at where they picked us in this video, given it's ESPN

Anyways, nice to see more national (east coast) recognition

I put this in PHT, because the Sox are included. I just didn't want to spoil the ranking in the subtitle for those who hadn't seen the video yet

Interesting.. I would have flipped the two rankings myself. Who is this guy though? I don't think I've ever seen him before.

Even while giving us love, they're pretty apologetic about it. I really can't tolerate the bias on ESPN anymore so I just don't watch. Ever.

hahaha, thanks for saving me the anger of actually watching it and seeing more bias even when giving the White Sox props! On paper national outlets will have to give the White Sox props, it would be a glaring omission if they didn't.

Yeah, that's from First Take from a few days ago. Masarotti is a Red Sox beat writer.

um, there was no apologies or bias in it, the guy repeated how much he loved the white sox staff. It was a good piece.

Dude, what are you talking about? He didn't apologize for anything. He flat out said the White Sox might have the best pitching staff in the AL.

"I think the White Sox are terrific" if that's not apologizing I don't know what is.

Well maybe it's just me who perceived it this way, but when he said at the end "I think the White Sox pitching is up there with the Yankees and Boston," that kind of annoyed me. He picked us 2nd for starting staff, 1st for bullpen, yet we're approaching the big bad Yankees and Red Sox? If anything, they're approaching us, according to his analysis.

Since nobody else seemed to be annoyed by that, it's entirely possible that their long-time bias has simply biased me against ESPN and I have a mental block on accepting compliments from them. :lolhitting

He said at the "very least" they're right up there with the Red Sox and Yankees. That's a pretty fair assessment to me. And there's really no more excuses to have to turn to ESPN for your baseball fix anymore. MLB network >>> ESPN. But in this case, the Boston writer was being more than fair.

My DirecTV box is pretty much always tuned to MLB network. I am a happy panda.

A lotta Sox love in that piece. If he posted here for a couple days, we'd beat that s*** out of him.

Yeah because there's so much hate on here for our starting rotation.

I'm surprised he ranked our bullpen first...

You'd think he'd put the Red Sox somewhere in there at least.

bull pen

Well, if you have Dish Network, you get no MLB Network (GRRRRRRR)

bull pen

S***, people have been talking up our pen (on paper that is) on here for months now and I've yet to see a fight about it. Interesting.

Come on, you know one blown save and we'll have half the board on the ledge.
