Wow, tore the cover off the ball that inning. Jenks with a tough inning coming up with Ichiro batting 2nd.

Why are they going with Jenks over Santos?

 

I hate Jenks in tie games....100% hate it.

 

White Sox still can't seem to buy a big game-changing hit with RISP....although Rios has come through quite a bit early this year. But his DP ball also really hurt us, too. Well, he's one of the few guys swinging the bat well. Hard to get too upset w/ Andruw Jones hitting into a DP when he has 5 homers in such a limited number of AB's.

Pretty sure Nix is the emergency catcher. There's no rule saying you can't use your back-up catcher, but Ozzie's always so afraid to. I guarantee you that the chances that AJP hits a homer are probably 100 times greater than the chances he leaves with an injury.
