YEah f*** Pods.

LOL

If you want to play a fun drinking game, take shots every time Beckham fouls one down the right field line. You'll be drunk in no time.

Sincere question...when's the last time Beckham hit a ball hard?

We're down 2, not 1

Yep. We are down 2 outs not 1.

Pierre should bunt regardless.

Beckham with a bat slam. So nice to see that the veteran leadership is rubbing off on the kids.

back to the 2 - 3 runs a game routine. why get out of your comfort zone?

He actually looks worse than he did at any time last year. Even when he was struggling after he came up, I remember thinking that he was actually swinging pretty well. Not so much now.

Pierre trying to have the worst solo performance in Sox history tonight.

Dewayne Wise already did that last year on Opening Day.

Flip his card. Its cold. Hes not loosey goosey. He knows how to hit already, its coming.

Agreed, his bat isn't getting through the zone on a level plane. For him to even pull the ball, he has to roll over on it. Greg Walker needs to be sent far, far away. Quentin's already looking like someone who might have peaked, and we can't have that happen to Beckham.

What did he do? Did he possibly account for 6 outs and cost us 2 runs on defense?

Not me. I always thought he was a dumb ball player when he played for the Cubs.

This reminded me of something. Why was it that when Thome or Dye struggled, Walker would say "flip his card" -- but when Wise and Kotsay sucked as one would expect from their "cards", Ozzie thought they'd be really good instead?

Rely less on home runs? Ugh, I HATE DUMBASS FANS!

Texas just hitting the daylights out of the ball the last two innings.

it should be get a team that can hit in clutch situations

LOL. I looked up to see the ball headed into right center, and saw someone gracefully moving over to catch it. I thought, Jesus, Quentin looks pretty good out there. But, of course, A. Jones. Quentin may not have even seen it.

Let's get some runs.

God the f***ing "pressure" excuse. Every major league team has pressure. Not too many teams have the entire team shut down offensively all at the same time.

i'd like to see teahen in the number 2 hole...
