Our pitchers just HAVE to start getting ahead of these hitters...

They're too patient for John to get away with this much longer.

Heart of the order here. One swing can tie it.

A GITP would be nice.

Danks isn't making it out of the 4th if he doesn't find some command.

At a boy, Swish

Sometimes, you just love to see Swisher at the plate!! I love how Stone rips Swisher's ability to hit the change.

Way to get a ground ball Johnny.

That's one way to fix a problem.

Retire the next guy Danks.

time for a triple play

Double play works too.

He's looked like that a few times this year...luckily, he's figured things out sooner rather than later. I think in his 2nd start he was all over the place at first too...He's really just all over the place today, eh?

Is this Andruw's third 2-homer game this year already?

Well that was weak

He really hasn't had his good change-up in his last two starts now. He's not really close to the zone right now, and is just playing with fire.

Yes, yes it was.

D'oh.

Oh well, retire A-Rod Johnny.

Teahen's reaction time at 3rd base is just beyond awful. He could have made that play.

Ugh, another infield hit? Seems like we have had an inordinate number of those against us this year thus far...

Basically a half swing that just went right down the 3rd base line.

Danks approaching 70 pitches.

Hopefully we can stop seeing Cy Danks threads now, so early in the season

do the yankees have an organ player for all the games or is it part time like the sox?

Danks is what he is. He'll have games where he looks like Johan Santana, and then he'll have games where he has absolutely no command. It's all a matter of his delivery, and he looks like Mitch Williams today.

Nice change-up there!

the strike zone for the yankees - especially jeter - is bulls***

Hopefully Danks can just get at least 2 quick innings without much stress.

That could have been worse. We get the leagues hottest hitter out to get outta this thing. Good pitch sequence to Cano. Lets hurt Javy some more.

i think Gordon was better suited at 3b, especially since he's struggling a bit at 2b with the footwork.
