Well, this is a happy crowd.

Losing already...Boesch is an impressive young hitter.

Lots of energy being displayed by the Sox so far. Maybe the most dead crowd I can ever remember at a Sox game.

That's all on Hawks.

Beckham with a nice turn on that DP.

30 minutes into a game and the gamethread is less than 2 pages, ouch..

Alexei homered...besides that, not a hard hit ball for the Sox. Beckham pulled off the ball badly, and hit a weak grounder to SS.

Uhh, there is another Chicago team that could win it's first title in 50 years....

Buster Posey with a homer today....kid looks like the real deal.

Juan Pierre just stole a HR from Brennan Boesch.

Pierre robbed Boesch of another home run!

Jeesh, that kid looks like the real deal as well.

Didn't know Juan was this good of a defender.

Juan Pierre with 2 great plays in the 4th inning.

Impressive defense by Juan out there! Tigers seem to develop big lefty hitters that put up decent numbers, and then fade away fast.

Boesch wasn't even in their top 25 prospects coming into the year.

I know...I had never heard of him until about the first week of May or so.

Studly swing by Rios, but what the hell, why is it that the veterans are our dumbest base runners?

What happened, Fathom?

Nice swing PK14.

Nice to see a team other than us give up a run on a throwing error.

Vizquel didn't run until a fly ball to right dropped, preventing him from scoring. It was an obvious single off the bat.

Ok, I have officially decided.

It is time to order my authentic Alex Rios jersey.

Quentin with the hard ground ball single up the middle.

4 straight hits!
