I wonder if there is any web service available where you could get the XML and fomat it into the page. That way you wouldn't need to update it manually all the time.

I just mean it would be cool if there was somewhere you could automatically pull the standings information from when the page loads. You could just write the code once to format the data and be done with it. I'm sure that's what they're doing on the mlb page but they probably don't make their functions public. I wonder if there is somewhere that does.

Oh I gotcha. Ya that would be really nice. Thats how like the stat pages are done. You get permission from someone like stats.inc and I think pay them money and you get a code for the team you want and they update everything and it autogenerates to update your page.

 

I'm assuming its the same thing if you wanted to do things that way.

what this site needs is an enemies list....sosa, fick, mntkwz,DiFelice...

 

this would be an educational tool for some of the younger folks and a refresher for the rest....
