Facing the NL after a 2 month losing skid?

I'm trying not to jinx it...but I think Gavin Floyd would be an all-star in the NL.

I think we'd have 4-5 all stars in the NL.

Jones is pretty predictable. Swings from his heels, gets some pop for the first month or two. Pitchers adjust, Jones production dives.

Nice hit by CQ there...too bad Kotsay couldn't get to 3rd. Can AJP go 4-4?

Can Batista head fake like that while in the stretch? I would assume it would be a balk, but what do I know.

Me too, sure looked like his entire body shifted.

The head fake is something they wont call. But that twitch he had after the set looked suspicious.

Yup. D1, maybe Floyd, probably Peavy, maybe Buehrle, maybe Thornton/Putz

Completely agree

Our offense in 2005 was #9 in the AL, this year it's #10.

#10 in what? Batting Average? Runs scored? RBIs? ...

Alexei, hell of a catch!

Runs scored, the only measure of "Total offense" I care about.

Missle

Alexei is a stud in the field. THERE I SAID IT.

love that late-tailing action on that last pitch, he's had that movement consistently today.

Beckham's got range

Nice defense so far this inning. Don't let Willie hurt us...I don't want to dislike him!

Need to back door Harris here...just like he's back doored so many.

Way to throw a strike there! I'd go with Thornton in the 9th, especially with Peavy having to bat this inning.
