10 k's in his last 35 at bats. That's actually a slight improvement for him.

Some of him heating up was due anyway, simple BABIP regression.

His BABIP is .340. How high do you expect it to get?

Really? It was that high? Ok, my mistake, I assumed too much from when he was hitting .220.

It takes alot of players a while to adjust to all the junk pitches they see in AAA.

It's the level where they'll see the best offspeed stuff they've ever faced in their careers.

Guys who are good fastball hitters won't see many of them until they demonstrate good batting eye and plate discipline to lay off offspeed pitches just outside the strikezone.

The key is to watch their adjustment.

Looks like Danks may be starting to adjust.

I would agree if Danks' K% had jumped form

Players don't usually see a dramatic improvement in their plate discipline, especially not when they start to hit 22/23/24.

I'm not expecting a major adjustment. But it is reasonable to see early struggles and then improvement in the first few months of AAA.

For D2, the adjustment we need to see is about a 20-25% decrease in the K rate. He doesn't have to halve them. The difference between the 175 K/year and 130 K/year pace is huge.

Threets with a scoreless 9th. Hudson gets his 9th win.

Morel went 1-3 with a 2B, and a BB.

Hit safely in 7 out of his last 9 games, and hitting .333 over that streak.

I would still rather give Threets a shot at the major league roster rather than Williams.

Gilmore's hitting streak ends (I believe it was 16 or 17?)

Short with a nice night.

Hudson BB count and pitch count up the last two starts. Maybe he is facing the league´s tougher hitting lineups. Still leading the league in WINS. GO SOX!!!
