Yeah, but usually, most steals are for second base and it's usually with no outs or one out, so we can basically assume. If you're around 75%, you're not hurting your team. If you're below that, don't really bother.

I think a lot of teams steal with 2 outs to try and get a run in with just a single.

I haven't seen the percentages myself, but it seems kind of apparent that most teams (at least us) do it with no outs or one out.

But of course, you need to take this with a grain of salt. It's all about context. I'm more mad at Pierre and Rios running early in the game and ruining scoring chances when Konerko or Quentin are up at the plate. If you need to steal late in a game or it's an obvious steal situation, you do it as long as the guy is sure he can get there.

seems like PK has struck out on that pitch a lot lately

It should have been 5-0 right there.

this ump is fuking ridiculous.

Those last two strikes to Quentin were about a inch or two off the plate.

If Dunn comes, who goes?

lmao, Kotsay's got two bloop hits that were about a mile high.

An inch or two?

HAHAHA, Royals are awful.

I sense a pattern, how about you?

With the collective range of Pods and Betancourt, keep dumping it out there.

This guy must think the plate is moved to the far left.

An inch or two?

They were both kinda close, according to GameDay.

What does that graph mean? I know it is showing strikes and balls, but what do the squares and triangles and colors mean?

Kotsay, I hope.

Just get on base A.J., please.

this is why i like the camera angle the twins use - you can see this for yourself and you can also see the positioning of the ump.

But you can't see the catcher's fingers, I can not live with that. It's also just not intimate enough for my taste, feels like I have s***ty seats.

A.J. oh A.J...

Well, one of them was.

The other one was 3-4 inches off.

It's...Wilson Betemit!

Floyd's gotten about his average run support so far already. Watch us not score another run.
