You gotta admit. Sweaty Freddy is a pretty good No. 5 starter.

He'll give up 2-4 runs through 6 or 7 innings. Not bad at all.

Should Rios have had that triple? I only saw it briefly.

Would have been a great play. He seemed to stumble a little about as he went for the dive, and might have messed up his vision.

Freddy has been really good this year. He had the two awful starts against Toronto and Florida early on, but otherwise he's been outstanding.

Yes, but what KW considers a significant return might be different than what we would (ie: 3 months of Adam Dunn is not a sig return)

C'mon. The man isn't an idiot. He knows that.

Hawk trying to become Pierre's agent tonight? You'd think Pierre hit 3 of the hardest balls in baseball history.

You sure of that? Those are the names being thrown around.

Did he get on again?

grounded out hard to SS...unlike Vizquel, who looks his age tonight. JUST PLAY VICIEDO!

Ok Konerko, pretend it's the 8th inning

I think it's pretty clear there is more pressure on KW within the organization than there is on Ozzie. I'm a little concerned he'd overpay to try and make it look like he's giving Ozzie the tools to win this year.

Who is throwing around those names? People making educated guesses on here?

wow, that's a soft grounder! pretty pathetic offensive effort so far, as Lewis is topping out at 91 mph.

No, people that actually know

Paulie with the weak weak ground out.

Hope it's not too late before Oz realizes we need an infusion of youth with the oldies.

Free Viciedo!

Then again, with KW moving to a different position after this season (all signs point to Hahn taking over), KW doesn't have as much responsibility to keep the future intact.

No idea why Viciedo isn't starting against potential Cy Young winner Lewis.

If it's possible for an organization in the middle of a pennant race to be a mess, we've pulled it off.

From what I know, this isn't as close to happening as many here seem to think...

Freddy is the definition of what you want out of a No. 5 starter.

We're headed for baseball hell...78-83 or so wins

Garcia's doing all he can to keep us in this game. Feels like we're going to need a home run to tie this.

Well not only that, but there is a lot of unhappiness among important people in our organization right now.

Why does it seem like that streak against the NL never happened?

Garcia should have been in front of Rios in that poll.

fathom, have you gone to any games this year?

If so, how do you handle watching this team in person?
