August 6, 201015 yr Toledo @ Charlotte Harrell getting slapped around early Birmingham @ Jacksonville Leesman Frederick @ Winston-Salem postponed Greensboro @ Kannapolis postponed Missoula @ Great Falls Burnside Johnson City @ Bristol postponed Edited August 6, 201015 yr by scenario
August 6, 201015 yr Don't know if it's because of the pitching coach (perhaps something altered mechanically) or maybe cause his stuff translates better in higher levels (that does happen at times with hitters or/and pitchers) but Leesman has been much better in AA than he was in single A. Still not completely sold yet, but he has held his own. Dusty Harvard had himself a night.. and so did Great Falls. Edited August 6, 201015 yr by J.Reedfan8
August 6, 201015 yr Paul Burnside, who is a little old for rookie ball, is putting together a real nice season.... 42 IP, 32 H, 3 HR, 11 BB, 43 BB, 2.79 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, 3.9 K:BB Also, my boy Andy Wilkins went 1-4 tonight, but had 2 BB. Triple slash line is now .346/.440/.998. 19 BB to only 13 K is pretty nice. I believe his K% right now is only about 9%, which is really, really good for a guy who has 11 extra base hits in 26 games. Also has 3 SB, so it seems he at least has average speed.

Numbers do not lie, and he really has answered the challenge. His SO to BB ratio was about 1-1 in WS, in Birm it is 2-1.
