Hynick just had the heck beaten out of him by the Tigers AAA guys.

Teahen 0/3, drops to .444 average.

Very nice start for Alexrod tonight...

8 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 4 K.

He has 59 K to only 10 BB now in 84 2/3 IP. Awesome K:BB ratio.

Rath with 2 1/3 perfect innings, 6 K. Jikes.

This kid will never make the bigs.

Justin Edwards actually pitched well vs. Teheran. (who was a miss match going into that game... just a stud pitcher) Barons came back against their bullpen.

Escobar is starting to adjust well against AA pitching. And Brandon Short has not struck out yet in the month of August.

We gave Justin a standing ovation, great start tonight.

Great line for Phegley, and Saladino continues to impress. Saladino has really killed the ball in low-A. Definitely a good thing to see.

Edit: Also, Infante hit 103?? JPN, how accurate is the gun down in Bham?

103? WTF?!?!?

Threets hit 103 when he was with the SF organization.

Real impressed with him as well. I've said long ago he is one to watch and one I like keeping tabs on.

Yeah, he had good stats from a decent D1 program. Looked like a solid 7th round pick.

Phegley also has some good numbers when he is actually playing.

Legit.

Randall Thorpe with 2 more hits. He's made a pretty nice start in Great Falls. Not much power but fantastic walk rate and he's making more contact than I was expecting.
