I'm convinced that with a healthy roster, there's never been a platoon player that was 0-21 vs a certain pitching side in a pennant race game in August that was allowed to hit with the bases loaded.

Honestly, it doesn't matter if Kotsay was 10-10 with 10 home runs in the game coming into that AB. He literally is worthless vs LHP this season.
