I don't really get the whole playing Kotsay at all thing, but hitting him 6th is really, really bad. Add to that, Mr. Out Pierzynski is right behind him. No pitcher fears these guys.

Ozzie wants Gordon up there as the 27th man so that he can break up the perfect game in the 9th. It'll be a nice moral victory for next year when we have a better DH in our lineup.
