Blown call leads to the Swisher home run.

Bahaha, Linebrink.

Alright Scott wrap it up.

Have to question that radar gun.

Linebrink had one up there at 97. Yankees' announcers said Burnett has never been at 96 consistently this year.

Garcia at 91?

Mariners get one run back, now a 2-1 deficit.

It's always fun when gameday shows up the umps. Linebrink got squeezed a bit on the 4th pitch and f***ed hard on the 5th pitch. Good win though.

i dont care what anyone says linebrink has looked decent lately....if there wasnt a blown call right there he wouldnt have given up the 2 run shot...not his fault

What's funny about Linebrink is that his strikeout and walk numbers are actually quite good.

He's terrible. Giving up bombs to Gregor Blanco, walk-off singles to Kendall, etc. He's completely unreliable.

Who'd have thought that the best Yankee on the field tonight was Scott Linebrink?

That change-up to Swisher just hung over the middle of the plate and then faded right into an area where Swisher could punch it out and use the wind to his benefit.

Thankfully, the wind really killed that ball Cano hit into RCF or it would have been tied 4-4 and perhaps a different result.

i havent watched much the last week but everytime i've tuned in lately he's pitched pretty decent i thought (maybe im just used to him sucking and when he's mediocre i think its good idk) parenthood is affecting me haha

I tend to agree with fathom on this. A good pitcher-getting squeezed or not-comes back and puts them away. It seems we have relievers trying to mess up well pitched games by the starters b giving up that long ball in the 9th

lets hammer captain cheeseburger tomorrow and set our sights on a sunday sweep of the dog-f***ing yankees.

amen

Linebrink was the goat just what, one game ago or two?

He walks a guy with two outs and promptly gives up the run that beats us in extra innings. That walk was a KILLER.

Linebrink is not an option to pitch in any close game.
