Both of our main choices for governor are terrible. Again.

Whitney / Gianoulias

What about Scott Lee Cohen? He's not a career politician!

LOL, he's the Dem version of Christine O'Donnell, with a sprinkling of criminal history.

I'm also voting for Laurel Lambert Schmidt - Green party. For the Illinois's 3rd congressional district.

I can't stand Dan Lipinski.

Quinn/Gianoulius

I wonder how much 3rd party candidates will take in the Governor's race.

I have a gut feeling that 44-45% will be enough to win it.

Shoot last time, Whitney got 10% of the vote with Blago/Topenka.

I could easily see this going 44% Brady-42% Quinn-11% Whitney-3% Other

I think Alexi takes the Senate race by 3%.

I already voted last weekend in case anyone is taking notes for the Bigsqwert autobiography. Went with quite a few Green Party candidates this time around.

I always voted for the Greens for the water district jobs. I figure, its water, right? Seems like they'd be best suited to the job.

Where's "I want to shoot myself" as an option?

Are you serious? I did that last time.

Yes I'm serious, that's what I do.

I may end up using the stylus to just poke my eyes out, but I'll probably use it for Brady/Kirk.

Four years ago I wrote in Abraham Lincoln for governor. I'm tempted to do it again and add Stephen Douglas for Senator.

Still undecided between Quinn and Whitnety for Governor and Gianoulias/Other for Senate.

I know for a fact that I DO NOT want Brady to be the next governor. This guy will just screw things up worse with his big business policies and how he wants creationism to be taught in public schools. He's just another rich guy trying to buy his way into office.

Hell, even Scott Lee Cohen's more interesting to me with his checkered past.

Granted, it was a different time and standards were different, but Stephen Douglas was openly a white supremacist. That was more or less all 19th century Democrats though (up to Woodrow Wilson)

Point taken. Everett Dirksen then.

IIRC, there was a big split among Northern and Southern Democrats about this issue, circa 1850.

Brady's winning on SoxTalk? Quinn doesn't stand a chance.

"Other" is taking him down.

Quinn/Gianoulias. although voting Gianoulias is soooooooooo hard to do. But I think Kirk is creepy plus anyone running on the "I'm a fiscal conservative" line I won't vote for because it's never true.

Also voting for Foster for my congressional district.

Brady/ Kirk

I accidentally voted for Brady here in the poll, but I'll be voting for Quinn in November. Also will be voting for Alexi and Foster.
