Gio's a good pitcher and Sweeney's OK and so is Chris Young.

I really liked Sweeney as well, but he turned out to be no big loss.

AJP is just a bad hitter. Another worthless offensive night for him.

God I'm so sick of AJ. He's just boring now.

He's not a grinder, he's a grounder.

What are the odds of Sale getting out of the 9th without giving up a run??

Not a comfortable decision for Ozzie to make. You know he'd prefer to go to Santos.

Thornton stays in?

1-2-3 goes the Sox!

Come on, let's get this to extras.

so are 7 other hitters in that lineup

I'd have Thornton stay in instead of seeing Sale have to face three righties. Way he's going, he's bound to give up a homer to one of them.

Nice punchless ninth. SMH.

He stinks.

He can't hit.

Sox as team can't hit.

I think we all know what's coming. A walk off and fans will be leaving saying they saw a "great game."

lol@Rios

If we were down 5, he would have totally homered there

If Sale comes in , look for him to walk the first hitter or hit the hitter.

walk off is coming this inning, don't fight it, it'll be far less painful if you just know it's coming :)

This organization is in f***ing shambles. I'd rather be the Cubs right now.

Ok Matt, do not throw Cust a low fastball like you did Dan Johnson.

White Sox killer Jack Cust stepping to the plate.

Winner of tis game---> skinniest kid at fat camp.

Got Smoak out...nice.

only question is how easy the sox make it on them

That's a no-brainer, especially with how bad the future looks for some of the other teams in the NL Central.

I love the low fastball pitch. We never learn

No pinch runner?

Really?

Thornton's fastball isn't popping as much this inning.
