Maybe Kenny should take a look at the Angels and see that you can draft successfully if you have scouts that can evaluate talent passed the first round. Also there is this new tangled international signing period that can be used. They usually field a winning team and don't have great draft position. It can be done.

With all due respect to the Stone Pony, I'm looking forward to the reunion. Hawk and the Wimperoo ("The Dukemeister"; "Big Bob", "Cecil's Body") were a terrific duo.

Maybe Dunn is just real streaky. Last year at this point he had 6 homers and was hitting .230. He had an awful second half but still had good overall numbers. He must put up most of his numbers in a short period of time.
