The problem ALSO is that Viciedo simply has to be in the line-up, and unless we trade Quentin or move Viciedo AGAIN to 3B, there's just no way Lilly is the leadoff hitter next year.

If Pierre is gone and Lilli can hit 300+, why would Rios failing have any part in the equation?

 

The most obvious thing is to have Lilli play more consistently than Pierre, Lilli just needs to prove that he can hit over a full season.

Lillibridge is not going to hit .300

Then he probably wont ever leadoff, because I dont really see a career for him as a power/obp guy.
