I guess...I honestly thought this baby was over at 3-0...but I guess theres a reason I'm still watching.

A third of the lead sliced off by one swing by Teahen! Go Sox!

THATA BABY MARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or we can show signs of life offensively...that works!!!!

Ramirez 4 for his last 37.

I can't remember a line-up so collectively cold in recent memory. Just AJ and Pierre are alive. Even Paulie's in a mini-slump.

Mark Teahen sighting.

Pavano slams down the rosin bag, visions of blowing a 7-0 lead the last time out (well, he left down 7-4 and then the bullpen further imploded).

Lousy swing by Beckham. That's a line drive in the box score, Gordon.

The Twins have blown a lot of big leads this year...

.242 is as high as Beckham has been in a long time. 660 OPS.

Omar trying to pull everything tonight. It's almost to the point I want to give Beckham a chance at the 2 spot again.

Nishioka is messing us up tonight.

So Joe Mauer is gobbling up everything, and Paulie has the most mindless error we've seen this season...only Sox vs. Twins.

Just way too many opportunities wasted with RISP.

I don't know what the hell they can do. Stick Teahen at 3B and pray. Move up Beckham or Ramirez and hope they get hot again.

Ramirez has really struggled in that RBI position the last 10-12 games or so.

Hector has some serious heat....93-94 mph fastball.

Santiago=Ehren Wasserman 2007

He's been getting his FB up in the 93 range with the four-seamer.

Cubs now have the 9-8 lead.

Anytime you can have almost a 20 MPH differential in pitch speed, that's usually going to be effective.

Uh-oh, AJ.

Good call Caulfield, why did Ozzie move the Cuban Missile from the 2 spot? Lexi was doing pretty good there.

And a decent screwball. He's definitely been impressive in his short stint thus far.

Even if we lost six in a row, the worst we could be is 7 1/2 games back.

Almost the exact same position as 2003 at the All-Star Break.

Dan Bernstein is so right...you just have to bench Dunn and try to actually win games instead of letting someone who can't even hit the ball play every day.

wonder if he's noticed that they're all throwing him inside with 0-2?

lol Tom Kelly saying Carl Pavano is getting generous calls.

Swing the freakin' stick Dunn...seriously, whether it was a strike or not...at some point you just gotta start swinging the bat. Unreal.

43.75% K rate

It's worse than Deer, Kingman and Reynolds.

did alex stop running?

no, he didn't

If you bring up Viciedo for Dunn, might as well bring up De Aza for Rios....HOLY s***

AJ didn't exactly hustle on that one.

God, that's just a pathetic inning of offense after we actually threatened Pavano in the 5th.

There's no choice left now. Teahen for Morel, DeAza/Lilly platoon and Viciedo for Dunn.

Doesn't matter who you "mystery DL," just get it done KW.

I feel like Dunn needs a bigger bat.

0 for last 3 games for Dunn since he homered against KC. Rios has 1 hit in last 6 games I believe.
