You're not going to get Michael Young for Alex Rios. Not unless you include a significant sweetener to that deal going to the Rangers.

Juan Pierre is absolutely ballin' today.

Alexei has been brutal in that spot, but man, Juan should have scored there.

Yeah Cabrera has almost 0 lateral movement at 1b.

 

and yah Pierre would have scored had he gone.

Wow, Alexei has really struggled with those runners on 3rd with less than 2 outs.

 

Pierre froze...thought the pitcher was going to snag it and then it was too late to go. Peralta was going to 1B the whole time.

 

Dammit.

That 2 RBI single off Verlander last night was the key to the game....and his last homer should have keyed a Sox comeback victory but we frittered it away.

 

Rios hasn't done ANYTHING to help us win a game in weeks.

Luis Terrero actually hit fairly decently for us that one year. Showed a bit of pop, his average wasn't anywhere close to below 200, I remember that much.

 

Now Julio Ramirez might be a better comparison. Or Brian Simmons.
