July 24, 201114 yr We really stole this game, but it's about damn time we stole a game from a division rival.
July 24, 201114 yr QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 03:11 PM) 5-3 road trip to start the 2nd half. Could've been better, but it's a start. And 4-1 against the two teams the Sox are chasing. Not gonna comment on the series loss to KC, I choose to forget about that.
July 25, 201114 yr QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 07:59 PM) what is a teM Transmission Electron Microscope.

July 25, 201114 yr Funny... the announcer on the mlb.tv recap of the game said this after Dunn's fly ball was dropped: "Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good." bawahaha
July 25, 201114 yr QUOTE (hi8is @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 08:37 PM) Funny... the announcer on the mlb.tv recap of the game said this after Dunn's fly ball was dropped: "Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good." bawahaha Did you see the 2 inch foul ball that coulda been a double on the pitch before? Dude was due for some luck.
July 25, 201114 yr QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 03:05 PM) Cleveland against the White Sox = White Sox against Twins = Twins against Tigers the renowned triangle theory that seems to always pop up in Boxing, lol

He's hit two balls to the track in the last two days. It's nice to see some signs of life from him and I for one am hoping that he finally turns the corner here. We need him. NOW.
July 25, 201114 yr QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 09:11 PM) 5-3 road trip to start the 2nd half. Could've been better, but it's a start. Yup. In hindsight, the rainout sucks cause I was not impressed by the Tribe's play against us. A four-game series the third week of September? In Cleveland? Wow. That series could mean a ton for both of the teams, one of the teams or none of the teams. I wonder which scenario will be true?

We do need him (against righties only), but we need him to be batting no higher than sixth. I'd prefer seventh cause I know it won't be eighth.

July 25, 201114 yr QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jul 25, 2011 -> 02:50 AM) Well that's too bad because he's going to hit cleanup for the foreseeable future. Yuk. One of the worst seasons in modern baseball history hitting fourth. That is called buzzkill.
July 25, 201114 yr QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 10:20 PM) Yuk. One of the worst seasons in modern baseball history hitting fourth. That is called buzzkill. You wanna talk BUZZKILL? BUZZKILL IS BEING BELOW .500 at HOME with the Tigers, Boston, and Yankees coming to town. Oh yeah after that we go to Minnesota. LOLOLOL. Edited July 25, 201114 yr by buhbuhburrrrlz

July 25, 201114 yr QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 10:50 PM) Well that's too bad because he's going to hit cleanup for the foreseeable future. I was laughing at the time but I don't think I've ever seen a manager call for intentional walk, going from righy/righty matchup to a righty/lefty when the lefty is the cleanup hitter.

July 25, 201114 yr QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 07:10 PM) Transmission Electron Microscope. Ah, I wondered what was fired at Carrera's eyes to make him drop that ball. It all makes sense now
