Crede still in pain after two years

I guess I'm very very slow tonight (I'll argue not this slow most days)

He said "I still love Crede.

All time great Sox player?

No.

But love the guy."

I thought he meant he loved Crede, just disagreed on him being an all time great. I can accept it if haters say they do love the guy for what he did in 05. And a mod agreed with me we don't win it all w/out JOE CREDE.

Lot of Sox fans love Crede. And nobody has discredited what he meant to the '05 team. You put him on an unrealistic or imagined pedestal, just like you do with Ozzie now and just like you did with Jermaine Dye (your refusal to admit he was a below average RF) and Bobby Jenks last year. In your mind, anybody from that '05 team is some sorta demi-god that is above and beyond any type of constructive criticism.

I did mean that, but I thought the crux of the debate was Crede being an all time great.
