Why not just put Rios back in RF?

Why not just put Rios back in RF?

Viciedo belongs there. He's limited in range but has a cannon for an arm, which allows him a shot at making throws to 3b that Rios can't make. The LF doesn't get many shots at throwing a guy out at 1b.

Range is more important than arm strength IMO. Rios was a great RF in Toronto and I'm sure he'll still be a good LF here next year.

The thing with Rios is that he takes his bat to the outfield with him. If he sucks at the plate, he also sucks in the outfield...

Rios as we all know is a dog, and Quentin actually can hit and produce.

The outfield should be CQ in left, DeAza in center and Tank in right. Let Rios be the sub and/or take over if CQ gets hurt.

That actually might be a winning outfield if Tank can hit like he did in the minors.

Rios, DeAza and Tank is much more risky because Rios can't hit.

If DeAza is streaky and Tank isn't the Tank we expect, then we need CQ's bat even more.

If we actually want to try to compete, we have NO CHANCE with the Rios, DeAza, Tank outfield IMO.

Presumably Ventura will take KW up on his offer to not play Rios because that was such an obvious move to the Oz haters.

I assume that this means you agree Mark Buehrle is not needed in the rotation, since those issues are directly related via money.

And it's not "If" CQ gets hurt.

You just won't give up, will you?
