I like seeing ESPN throw up the Valley standings and seeing SIU above the 0-6 Redbirds.

Yeah, why would you want to give McDermott the ball?

Those were 2 great looks from Wragge though who can really shoot. Obviously you want McDermott to have the ball but you can't complain about either of those looks.

Mizzou misses Bowers

f***.

Two straight weeks the top 2 teams lose. Nice.

Illinois is like a bad girlfriend. One day, you're riding high, they're giving you even more than you could have asked for. Next thing you know, they're getting f***ed by some lowlife.

I knew Wisconsin was going to play terrible at Iowa, they always do.

No undefeated teams in the Big Ten. What is it, 5 teams tied in first place?

With the trend toward superconferences (16+ teams), I'd like to see them split into 4 divisions, and then have top 2 in each division make the conference tournament of something. Still have a fair amount of bids reserved for the non-superconference teams, though.

Yeah, So Butler/Gonzaga was pretty epic.

Especially with the setting of Hinkle Fieldhouse, that was awesome. Still hard to believe that they both lost to a 1-4 Big Ten team.

Two of my buddies got tix and drove to the game. Lucky bastards.

Not as fun as watching AJ Graves throw in a half court shot at the SIU Arena to win a game because Mullins couldn't make any free throws. Ugh.

Battle of the bottom feeders on ESPNU tonight! SIU vs. ISU!

Just blows my mind how good Brad Stevens is. Obviously it's not going to happen with Crean turning IU around, but dear lord Indiana could be a dynasty with Stevens at the helm.

Ya even at Hinkle there is no reason Butler should have won that game with out Rotnei. Stevens is a magician.

I can't say enough how much fun this is. Every game is like an elite 8 game, in talent and intensity.

Northwestern has to be the lowest scoring 1st half team in the history of life.

And they somehow throw up 36 at Illinois.

Jebus Hightower, let the kids play. Way too many ticky tack fouls on both sides. It's painful to watch, no flow to the game.

Yes, but keep in mind Butler played Illinois on the 3rd day in a row after two tough games against Marquette and UNC, while Illinois had easy games against USC and Chaminade. Not saying Illinois wouldn't win under different circumstances but its not tough to figure it affected how Butler played. Give the Illini all the credit for winning fairly easily and for going on the road to Gonzaga.

IU was not good today. Got out of Evanston with a win, but it was far from pretty.

Iowa State's starting to make me believe. I'm not convinced that they aren't the second best team in the Big 12 right now, and I suppose I'll find out a lot more against Kansas State next Saturday.

Go dawgs!
